Surayyah & Darryl’s London Wedding

London, UK

Morning Prep
We began at DoubleTree by Hilton London Kensington, where Surayyah’s suite was flooded with natural light and lush greenery. Her gown—hanging in silhouette against the floor-to-ceiling window—made for an unforgettable opening shot. Despite central-London traffic and four distinct locations on our itinerary, everything ran exactly to plan.First Ceremony: The Old Marylebone Town Hall
The couple’s civil vows took place in the Georgian splendour of The Old Marylebone Town Hall, its grand marble pillars and historic balconies lending timeless elegance to every frame.

Second Ceremony: St Luke’s & Christ Church
Later we moved to the nearby St Luke’s & Christ Church for a traditional Catholic Mass. The soaring arches, intricate stained-glass windows, and organ’s rich chords created a powerful, reverent atmosphere—perfectly suited to Surayyah & Darryl’s heartfelt exchange of vows.

Reception: Regency Banqueting Suite
The evening unfolded at the Regency Banqueting Suite, a modern, light-filled hall draped in ivory and gold. Energetic bridesmaids and groomsmen kept spirits high, cheering the couple’s entrance and punctuating speeches with laughter. When the time came, guests celebrated with the African “money spray” tradition—confetti of banknotes fluttering around Surayyah & Darryl as they danced under the glittering chandelier.

Throughout this long day—solo behind the camera—I wove a documentary-cinematic film capturing every quiet glance, every joyful cheer, and every dance floor flourish. From Kensington’s champagne-lit morning to the late-night party in Westminster, Surayyah & Darryl’s love story unfolded in rich, vivid detail—proof that thoughtful planning (and a touch of London magic) makes for a truly unforgettable wedding film.
